When our identity is in Christ, we have a new definition and understanding of ourselves.
We can face evil and suffering because we know we’re in God’s hands
We face temptation knowing who we are and who’s on our side
We don’t worry about what others think of us because we know how Christ sees us, clothed in “fine linen [that] is the righteousness of the saints” (Revelation 19:8), spiritual clothing that he has given to us. We are already seen as righteous when we’re in Christ, so when the devil or the people around us accuse or judge us, we are confident because of Christ.

Men's Group
Last time we read about the parable of the persistent woman. This parable can be difficult to understand, and Jesus did and said many things that were difficult to understand in his ministry, but it was great to unpack the richness in what Jesus said. Another instance like this is when Jesus curses the fig tree, so this time we’ll be reading Mark 11: 12-14; 20-25.
Give it a read if you can prior to coming, and maybe come with a couple questions to share as well.
