Our Identity in Christ

When our identity is in Christ, we have a new definition and understanding of ourselves.

• We can face evil and suffering because we know we’re in God’s hands

• We face temptation knowing who we are and who’s on our side

• We don’t worry about what others think of us because we know how Christ sees us, clothed in “fine linen [that] is the righteousness of the saints” (Revelation 19:8), spiritual clothing that he has given to us. We are already seen as righteous when we’re in Christ, so when the devil or the people around us accuse or judge us, we are confident because of Christ.
